She/her/hers

Pam made her way from Western New York to the Berkshires in 1987. Studying sociology and psychology at SUNY Fredonia, she received her degree with the strong desire to help people. She worked in the mental health field for nine years, most of that time in the Berkshires.

Deciding to use her skills and talents in other roles, she has worked in retail and hospitality management and sales and marketing, but found her way back to truly helping people through fundraising for community organizations.

Pam’s association with Berkshire United Way began in the late 1990s, when she volunteered to be part of an allocations panel. She encouraged her employer at the time to begin a BUW employee giving campaign and took the lead for four years. Pam joined the BUW team in 2022 as Workplace Campaign Ambassador and is currently the Community Engagement Manager.

With community at the center, Pam has been active in many organizations including the Rotary Club of Pittsfield, Girls Inc. of the Berkshires, and the Berkshire Athenaeum Board of Trustees, of which she is currently president of the board.
