Employee Giving Campaign
Around 65% of our annual campaign total comes from the 140 local companies and their 4,000+ employee donors. Gifts come in many forms — contributions, matching gifts, or in-kind products and services.

Making it easy for shoppers to give back to their local communities
Every time a shopper purchases a $2.50 Community Bag at a local Big Y location, a selected nonprofit receives a $1 donation, unless otherwise directed by the Giving Tag. You can direct the $1 donation to come to us at any time using the Giving Tag.
When Berkshire United Way is chosen by store leadership, we announce the Big Y location and month on our social media channels, and our name is listed on the rack at the store.
Community Bag
Every time a shopper purchases a $2.50 Community Bag at a local Stop & Shop location, a selected nonprofit receives a $1 donation, unless otherwise directed by the Giving Tag. You can direct the $1 donation to come to us at any time using the Giving Tag.

Bloomin' 4 Good
Every time a shopper purchases a $10.99 bouquet in the sleeve marked “Bloomin’ 4 Good” at a selected Stop & Shop location during a designated month, our organization receives a $1 donation. This donation specifically supports food insecurity programs.
Each year, on the first Tuesday after Thanksgiving, we join the GivingTuesday movement to raise additional funds or collect specific items to help our community.
For GivingTuesday 2024, we collected personal care items to support the Phelps Cancer Center and the Christian Center.
Each time you shop at Walmart.com, you can choose to round up your purchase amount to support Berkshire United Way.
Here's how it works:
1. Visit Walmart.com and log into or create a Walmart account
2. Click on the profile menu and select "Account"
3. In the account menu on the left, select "Giving & impact"
4. Click "Select Local Charity"
5. Enter "Berkshire United Way" in the search bar and select us from the list
6. Start shopping!
You can raise money for organizations and causes you care about on Facebook. Create a birthday, GivingTuesday, or special fundraiser.
