One hundred years of service is an incredible milestone for any organization. It is our sincere privilege and responsibility to be stewards of Berkshire United Way’s legacy of positive community impact during our 100th anniversary year.
Many things have changed in our community over the past century; however, our vision of a thriving Berkshire County is just as clear as it was to the dedicated leaders and volunteers who came together in 1924 to help support their friends and neighbors in need.
In our current circumstances, we know many of our neighbors struggle to meet their family’s basic needs. Our response to this challenge begins with the belief that when you have access to the services and support you need to be safe, healthy, and financially secure, you can achieve your goals.
As you read through our annual report, we think you’ll find these highlights make one thing perfectly clear: none of us can do this work alone. We’re grateful to our partners and friends who help us make progress the way we always have.
