Noelle Hunter, a junior from Taconic, has won the November S.A.Y It Proud award after being nominated by the Helen Berube Teen Parent Program for always being ready for class, open to learning and willing to do the work required. She is thoughtful, helpful, polite and a joy to work with. Noelle has a two-month old son, named Gabriel, and is continuing to excel in school and plans on graduatng next year and continuing on to bigger and better things.
S.A.Y. It Proud recognizes young people who are involved in positive activities and making good choices. The Pittsfield Prevention Partnership believes that the community values the good choices teens make and how hard they work. Recognizing their achievements helps to create the kind of healthy and positive community that prevents kids from turning to substance use.
