We're joining forces with NAMI Berkshire County to put together care packages for The Brien Center residential homes. We kicked off a two-week donation collection on #GivingTuesday.
You can donate specifically to this project through Tuesday, December 13. You can donate through our Facebook fundraiser or click the orange donate button above and check off the Giving Tuesday designation.
If you'd like to donate items for this project, we have a box at our office (200 South Street, Pittsfield). We will then work with a local youth group (TBD) to put together these care packages.
NAMI Berkshire County has provided a list of items being collected: Pocket planners, note pads/journals (no wires please), pens/pencils, socks, hats/gloves, slippers, games (for one), puzzle books/Sudoku/word search, lip balm, playing cards, travel size shampoo/conditioner, hand cream, healthy snacks (single serving), candy/mints/gum, granola bars, hair accessories.
