FREE RESILIENCE FILM SCREENING AND DISCUSSION

Berkshire United Way will offer two free screenings of the new documentary Resilience. The screenings will be held September 26, 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Little Cinema in the Berkshire Museum, 39 South St. Pittsfield MA and October 3, 6:30-8:30 at the Triplex Cinema, 70 Railroad St. Great Barrington, MA.  Resilience delves into the science of Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACE's) and a new movement to treat and prevent toxic stress.

Learn about stress, difficult life experiences and how they affect individuals’ physical and mental health. After the movie join us, and mental health professionals, for a discussion on how to rebound from these experiences and build resiliency in our lives and the lives of others. Light refreshments will be served.
